Live Ball: Lower Intermediate level (2.0-3.0)

About this event

Live ball session for Lower Intermediate level (2.0-3.0) players. If there are fewer than 5 participants, players will drill instead of Live Ball

What is Live Ball? It is a game where the instructor functions as the feeder usually feeding balls from the baseline to 2 players who have taken position at the No Volley Zone line on the other side of the net. These players are in scoring position and score a point every time they win a rally. The remaining players (challengers) form 2 lines on each side at the baseline of side opposite to the 2 players in scoring position. The challengers, 2 at a time, will try to replace the players in scoring position by winning 3 consecutive rallies (called strikes; 3 strikes and you're out). When this occurs, the instructor will feed a lob while the challengers who won 3 consecutive rallies will run to the other side to take the scoring position and hit the lob back to 2 new challengers. Any challenger who commits a forced or unforced error is replaced by the next challenger in line. Both challengers are replaced by the next 2 challengers in line when the players in scoring position hit a clean winner (a shot that was not touched by either challenger).

(Refund Policy: to qualify for a refund, cancellation must occur 48 hours prior to event)
