🛶 Paddle Up the River

Competitive Pickleball • Observed Play Clinic

Get ready to compete, move, and Paddle Up the River!

This instructor-led competitive clinic uses multiple courts, with one designated as the Top Court and one as the Bottom Court . Four players are assigned to each court and compete in a 10-minute game . The team that scores the most points moves Up the River toward the Top Court, while the team with the fewest points moves Down the River .

But there’s a catch: every team splits after each round. Players then form new teams and take on the next challenge.

Each session begins with a thorough warm-up followed by a brief group discussion focused on strategy and winning tactics for the day's competition.

Once play begins, the games keep moving — no coaching interruptions. Instead, the coach observes play throughout the session, identifying patterns, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Those observations become the foundation for the coaching feedback and curriculum for the following session.

Compete. Adapt. Move Up. Paddle Up the River.
