Men's Lessons - Road to 4.5

You’ve reached 4.0. Now it’s time to build the game that gets you to the next level. Don't get stuck and stay a 4.0, let's add to that skill set.

Road to 4.5 is a progressive training program built for competitive 4.0+ men who are serious about improving their game. Each session combines focused technical training, high-repetition drilling, advanced strategy, and coached gameplay to help players develop the skills and decision-making needed to compete at a higher level.

This is not an open play or game-heavy clinic. The majority of each session will be spent intentionally drilling and developing specific skills. Players will then put those skills into action through situational points and live gameplay designed around that session’s focus.

WHAT WE’LL WORK ON

• Advanced dink patterns, movement & attacking opportunities

• Resets and transition-zone decision making

• Speedups, counters & hands battles

• Drops, drives & third-shot strategy

• Serve and return development

• Shot selection & recognizing attackable balls

• Court positioning and partner movement

• Building points instead of simply reacting

• Identifying patterns and exploiting opponent weaknesses

• Developing the consistency required at the 4.5 level

BUILT TO PROGRESS

Each week has a purpose. Training will progressively build from session to session, allowing players to develop new shots, sharpen existing skills, and learn how those skills fit together in competitive play.

Men's Lessons - Road to 4.5 is a lesson hosted by Pints & Paddle in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The venue is at 15450 Grove Circle North, Maple Grove, Minnesota 55369. The next session starts on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM and ends at 12:00 PM, local time at the club. Sessions continue until November 20, 2026. Registration costs $60 USD. 5 of 12 spots are open. Players can register online as guests, without a Pints & Paddle account. Pints & Paddle has 10 courts for pickleball.
