TYPTI Open Play

About this event

The newest racket sport sensation — played on our pickleball courts!

Step onto the court and discover TYPTI (pronounced “tip-tee”), the fast-rising hybrid racket sport that blends the power, spin, and shot-making of tennis with the fun, social energy of pickleball. Launched in 2026 and already exploding across the country, TYPTI is played on standard pickleball courts using a 22-inch strung racket and a lively 3.5-inch channeled foam ball.

What Makes TYPTI So Addictive?

No kitchen — Volley from anywhere on the court.

Live net rule — If the ball clips the net on your side, the point stays alive! Use your hands, feet, body, or racket handle to make spectacular saves and keep rallies going.

Underhand serve (below the belly button) — Easy on the shoulder and fair for everyone.

“Stakes” scoring — Win a game by taking three consecutive points . Momentum swings are constant, drama is nonstop, and every point feels huge.

High-bouncing ball + real string tension = massive spin, explosive shots, and highlight-reel rallies that feel like mini tennis on a pickleball court.

It’s quieter, easier on the body than traditional tennis, incredibly forgiving for beginners, and endlessly creative for experienced players. Many say it improves their pickleball and tennis games while being pure joy to play.

Open Play Format

Drop in, grab a TYPTI racket (provided for rent at the front desk), and rotate through games with new partners and opponents. No partner needed — just show up ready to play!
