PB202: Defense & Smarter Placement

About this event

Pickleball 202: Defense & Smarter Placement

Members: $25 / Non-Members $35

Ready to handle faster hits and stop popping up easy balls for your opponents? Pickleball 202 is an active, 60-minute drill session with Coach Sze designed for players who have down the basics, can sustain a rally, and want to feel confident against hard-hitting opponents.

What We’ll Work On:

Angled & Cross-Court Shots: Practice hitting diagonally to move opponents out of position and open up easy scoring opportunities.

Slowing Down Fast Balls ("Resets"): Learn how to soften your grip and absorb hard shots so they drop safely into the kitchen instead of floating high.

Moving Up Without Getting Trapped: Build confidence hitting controlled, soft drops while moving from the baseline up to the non-volley line.

Live Point Play: Put your skills to the test in simulated game scenarios at the end of class.

Clinic Details:

Skill Level: Intermediate (approx. 3.0–3.5)

Duration: 60 minutes

Great fit if: You want to neutralize aggressive hitters, cut down on unforced errors, and place the ball with clear intent rather than just hitting it back.
