Weekend Open Play: Advanced Beginner Level 2.5-3.0

About this event

🎯 2.5–3.0 Advanced Beginner Open Play | Charleston

Level: Advanced Beginner — 2.5–3.0 Players

Format: Winners Stay & Split | Rack System Rotation | 6 Players per Court

Description: You've got the basics down — now it's time to put them to work.

This session is designed for the 2.5–3.0 player who is ready to move beyond drills and get into real match play in a relaxed, welcoming environment. You'll get consistent games against players at your level, build your court awareness, and start developing the instincts that only come from playing. No pressure, no intimidation — just good pickleball with people who are right where you are.

How It Works:

6 players are assigned to each court at the start of the session.

Games are played to 11, win by 2.

After each game, the winning pair stays on court and splits — each winner picks up one of the next two players from the rack.

The next two players in the paddle rack step onto the court as the new team.

Losing players rotate to the back of the rack and wait their turn to step back in.

Every game is a chance to learn, grow, and have a great time.

This is your court. Your level. Your community. Come play.

Player Level: This session is designed for 2.5–3.0 rated players . Not sure of your rating? Visit [Dill Dinkers Player Ratings Guide] to find your level.

What to Bring: Wear athletic clothing and soft-soled sneakers, pickleball, or "tennis" shoes. Avoid running or walking shoes for your safety.
