Sunday Afternoon Sharks (DUPR 3.75 -> 4.25)

About this event

🏆 CHALLENGE COURT 🏆

If at least two courts are running, one will be designated as the "challenge court." The winning team on the challenge court can stay on the court and does not switch partners.

➗ PLAYER-TO-COURT RATIO ➗

Because of the extended duration and the challenge court, this Open Play is designed with a 6:1 player-to-court ratio.

👾 SKILL LEVEL 👾

Players should have a DUPR of 3.75 or better. This open play has no DUPR restrictions. For more advanced players, we recommend the DUPR-restricted event, which takes place on different courts simultaneously.

Although access to this session is NOT restricted by your DUPR, staff will monitor play and move players to the appropriate level.

🪜 OPEN PLAY LEVEL 🪜

SHARK (DUPR 3.75 - 4.25)

A Shark player demonstrates strong consistency, control, and strategic execution. They reliably hit serves, returns, dinks, drops, and volleys with placement and purpose. They anticipate well, adjust tactics mid-rally, and apply pressure through smart shot selection. In doubles, they move fluidly with their partner, communicate effectively, and exploit opponents’ weaknesses. Focus areas include sharpening pace variation, spin control, and advanced net play.
