About this event

Pathway to 3.5: Six-Week Clinic for 3.0 Players

This clinic is for players with a consistent serve and return who can hold short dink rallies and are ready to play smarter, not just harder. Over six weeks you’ll sharpen the shots that separate 3.0 from 3.5: a reliable third shot, patient dinking, solid resets and better decisions as a team. Every session mixes drills, coaching feedback and live play, so you can use the skills right away in real games.

What you’ll work on:

Week 1, serve and return with purpose: adding depth, placement and spin, and using the return to get to the net quickly.

Week 2, the third shot: making the drop more consistent, plus when and how to drive and then follow it with a drop.

Week 3, dinking strategy: cross-court dinks, moving opponents and waiting for the right ball to attack.

Week 4, the transition zone: resetting hard shots, splitting your feet and getting all the way to the kitchen line.

Week 5, attacking and counterattacking: speeding up the right ball, hand battles and defending at the net.

Week 6, doubles strategy and play: stacking basics, communication, covering the middle and point play that applies everything.

Who it’s for: players rated 3.0, or 2.5 players who consistently get their serve and return in and can dink at the kitchen line. Each week builds on the last, so try to make all six sessions.
