11 and Over - Level 4

About this event

Level 4 Junior Program: Match-Ready Competitor Training

This intensive program is designed for junior players who have mastered the fundamentals and are now ready to commit to competitive play in tournaments, high school tennis, or structured leagues. Players entering this level should already be able to rally with pace and control on the full court.

The Competitive Focus:

This level moves beyond basic stroke execution to focus on match-winning consistency and strategy:

Advanced Shot Strategy: Drilling directional control, height, and depth, focusing on when to hit aggressively (attack) and when to hit defensively (neutralize). Introduction to hitting with heavy topspin and slice.

The Transition Game: Mastering the crucial transition from the baseline to the net, including hitting effective approach shots and closing out points with directional volleys .

Serve Variety & Reliability: Developing a first-serve weapon (pace/placement) and a reliable second serve (spin/safety) to hold serve consistently.

Match Simulation: Extensive use of competitive point play and situational drills (e.g., down a break, tie-breaks) to improve mental toughness and decision-making under pressure.

Goal:

To develop well-rounded, tactically aware players who can compete successfully, manage match pressure, and consistently execute their game plan.
