Weekday - Junior High Performance Program (Raul Clinic)

About this event

Program overview

This results-focused program is set up to follow a periodization method, which allows players to achieve peak performance at the sixth-month mark for each cycle.

It is important to have a planned program in order to establish a player’s baseline performance and encourage him/her to experience and measure independent progress over a set period of time. This process includes a detailed and personalized systematic approach that can guide each player toward improvement along a schedule.

Tournaments are integrated as part of the training at the appropriate times following evaluations and when it’s determined that participation is recommended.

Every player is required to keep a “Note Book” that outlines the individual’s overall program, goals and progress for the month, detailing specific aspects of what areas need focus.

The first page contains the player’s GOALS for the next 3, 6 and 12 months, as well as the 3- and 5-year GOALS. In order to maintain focus in the training, it is very important for the player to know what he/she envisions as the end result of all his/her efforts and hard work.
