Judith (Judy) Davidson Vogt and Colleen Cosgrove spent over a decade teaching tennis in the greater Princeton area – including the Princeton Tennis Program and 13 satellite sites under Tennis Network. Then, in 1995, they purchased Princeton Racquet Club (PRC).
From the beginning, their goal was clear: to provide a home base with top-tier courts, grow the game of tennis, and use the sport to inspire health, wellness, and community. With that mission in mind, they began expanding and improving PRC’s facilities.
They started by building 10 new outdoor courts in 1999, expanding the club’s capacity for programs and events. And over the years, they continued to enhance the facility, including the installation of solar panels in 2012, providing sustainable energy to the club.
By 2020, the club was ready for another transformation. For 25 years, PRC relied on a mix of software solutions and physical court sheets, but they needed a more efficient, mobile-friendly platform to streamline programming and registration.
Their search led them to CourtReserve at the PTR Symposium in February 2020, where they met Tim and Ashley, CourtReserve's Co-Founders. Tim and Ashley’s passion, deep industry knowledge, and first-hand understanding of club management made PRC’s decision clear – CourtReserve was the right choice.
As Princeton Racquet Club prepared to transition, the pandemic forced a mandatory 65-day shutdown. But instead of delaying progress, PRC used this time to fully integrated CourtReserve – migrating player data and launching online reservations.
Today, CourtReserve is still an integral part of Princeton Racquet Club – helping them streamline operations, boost efficiency, and enhance member experience.
By offering a mobile app and online portal, PRC makes it easy and convenient for members to book courts, register for lessons, and manage their accounts – eliminating phone calls, reducing administrative workload, and streamlining the player's experience.
They also leverage automated confirmations and notifications to improve club communication, driving higher participation and engagement. Meanwhile, financial reporting is more efficient, front-desk tasks are reduced, and record-keeping is more accurate than ever.
Princeton Racquet Club is a cornerstone of their local tennis community and remains a premier tennis facility – featuring 6 indoor courts, 10 outdoor courts, a memorial garden, a pro shop, and spacious lobbies.
