More about Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club

When the city converted the tennis courts to pickleball in Bozeman, MT, demand surged far beyond expectations. But players faced familiar challenges: limited play due to long Montana winters and packed public courts made it nearly impossible to find consistent playing time.

Seeing the gap, Elliot Marcille, an entrepreneur with an MBA in Finance, set out to create a better experience. He envisioned a facility that delivered reliable court access, professional-quality play, and a true community environment — something Bozeman had never seen before.

That vision became reality in 2024 with the opening of Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club, a four-court indoor facility featuring professional concrete and textured acrylic surfaces, permanent nets, a changing room, lockers, and a pro shop.

To run efficiently from day one, Bozeman Classic needed more than a reservation system. Owner Marcille wanted a comprehensive solution that could handle access control, payments, and liability waivers — the essentials for his autonomous facility model.

That search led him to CourtReserve, a club management platform designed for racquet sports clubs and trusted by over 2,000 clubs and 5 million players worldwide.

With its flexibility, powerful reporting, and proven reliability, CourtReserve provided the foundation Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club needed to launch and grow confidently.

CourtReserve quickly became the club’s digital front desk, automating scheduling, payments, communication, and access control — all without full-time staff.

The platform also made it easy to launch new programming fast — from open play to leagues and clinics — and promote them instantly to the right members. Push notifications and recurring events have helped drive steady participation and increase off-peak utilization.

Members quickly embraced CourtReserve, recognizing its ease and accessibility from the start. Many had also used CourtReserve before, giving Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club immediate credibility within the community. With real-time availability, self-service booking, and mobile payments, the platform makes Bozeman Classic feel “always on” and boosts player experience.

In less than a year, Bozeman Classic logged over 11,000 player visits and hosted over nine open play sessions weekly, using CourtReserve’s built-in reporting suite to refine offerings (like pricing, programming, etc.) and uncover utilization, repeat play, and revenue trends that confirmed strong demand and guide the move to a new facility.

Now, Bozeman Classic is preparing to break ground on an 18,000 + square-foot flagship facility, expanding indoor and outdoor offerings and introducing padel — a first for Montana. With a growing membership base and a trusted technology partner, Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club will continue to shape the next chapter of racquet sports in Montana.
