The USTA’s Adult Red Ball Tennis initiative is a FUN, social experience designed to bring adults onto your courts and have them playing the game in just 10 minutes! 

With modified equipment and an all-inclusive package, this program is set to supercharge the success of your players and infuse a new level of excitement into your facility.

  • Fun and Accessible: Perfect for newcomers, the program uses red felt balls and 23-inch rackets to make the game accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels.

Provider Incentives

  • Equipment Package ($400–$800 Value)
    • 23-inch rackets (12 or 24)
    • Red felt balls (36 or 72)
    • Portable nets (1 or 2)
    • Received prior to starting the pilot program.
  • USTA Pullover
    • Show your community you support Adult Red Ball Tennis.
  • Stipend ($300–$720)
    • Received after post-event survey and confirmed additional Adult Red Ball programming in 2025.

    • Access to Adult Red Ball Tennis marketing templates to promote your pilot program.

Adult Red Ball Tennis: Pilot Requirements

It’s easy, just fill out the interest form below and USTA’s team will be in touch to confirm your participation in the pilot program.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Complete a quick and easy orientation once selected.
  • Run your pilot up to December 31, including any combination of classes, mixers, and events.
  • Submit player surveys to earn stipends ranging between $300–$720.
