CourtReserve is partnering with the International Association of Pickleball and Padel Facilities (IAPPF) to produce The State of the Racquet & Paddle Sports Facility Industry, the first real benchmark report for racquet sports clubs.
We’re asking club operators across the industry to weigh in, whether you run on CourtReserve or not, so the data reflects what’s really happening at facilities like yours. To capture that, we put together a short survey. It’s open now, takes about five minutes, and every participant gets the full report free this summer.
Take the survey and help build the first real picture of where the industry stands.
The 2026 Operator Survey
Add your facility to the first real benchmark for racquet and paddle sports.
- 5 minutes, 19 questions
- 100% confidential, only aggregated data is published
- Open to all operators
- Runs now until July 31
- Participants get the full, published report for free
Powered by real data from CourtReserve, IAPPF, and you
The State of the Racquet & Paddle Sports Facility Industry report runs on real numbers and the operator insights behind them.
CourtReserve contributes operating data from the 2,300+ facilities on our platform, covering bookings, revenue, and player activity. IAPPF adds the reach of its global operator network and its padel market intelligence, connecting the report to facility owners well beyond our own customer base.
Together, those datasets give a wider, truer view of the industry than anyone has measured before. But the data only tells part of the story. The other part lives with the operators running these facilities, in the decisions you’re weighing, the pressures you’re feeling, and the bets you’re placing on the year ahead. The survey fills that in, capturing the things no dataset can, straight from the operators living it.
“For too long, our industry has been making investment and operational decisions without reliable benchmarks. This report changes that. Neither of us could have done this alone — and that’s exactly the point.” — David Johnson, President, IAPPF
See where your racquet sports facility really stands
Right now, there’s no honest way to know how your racquet and paddle club stacks up against similar facilities down the road or across the country. You run your facility on your own numbers, with nothing to measure them against.
The report is built to change that, covering questions like:
- Is your revenue per court ahead of similar facilities, or quietly behind?
- Are other operators fighting the same staffing and retention battles you are?
- How many facilities are actually building padel courts, and how is it paying off?
- What are the top-performing clubs running that you haven’t touched yet?
- Is everyone else as optimistic, or as nervous, about the next 12 months as you are?
- Which revenue model is really winning: membership, pay-per-play, or a mix?
Credible answers have never existed in one place. The data is out there, scattered across thousands of facilities, but nobody has pulled it into something you can actually use. Until now.
This report finally pulls it together, and your survey responses are what shape it. By sharing your perspective, you help build the complete picture. In return, you’ll finally get the answers to your questions: the benchmarks, the trends, and how you actually compare.
Ready to weigh in?
The report improves with each operator who responds. If you own, operate, or work at a racquet or paddle sports facility, we want to hear your perspective.
The survey is open now through July 31 and takes about five minutes. Answers stay confidential, and you don’t have to be a CourtReserve customer to add yours.
